Annular shows your Claude and Codex usage limits as rings, in the Mac menu bar or docked in a corner of your screen. One glance tells you whether the next long run will make it to the reset.

Claude and Codex, read the clean way

Annular has no sign-in of its own and never sees a password. It reads what the tools on your Mac already know, read only, and either tool alone is enough.

Annular asks Codex's own local server for your limits and hangs up. Codex keeps its login and talks to OpenAI itself.

Readable from across the room

Each ring turns from teal to amber to coral as a limit gets close. You choose the thresholds for every window, and the colors come from the theme.

When, not just how much

Click for exact reset times and a forecast from your recent pace: safe until the reset, or the time you will hit 100 percent. A notification arrives at 75 and 90 percent, once per reset period.

Built to be left running

About 15 MB of memory and no measurable CPU at idle. A keep-awake switch for overnight jobs sits next to the rings, on Option-Shift-K, and lets go by itself when the battery runs low.

Your login stays yours

No sign-in of its own

Annular reads what Claude Code and Codex already keep on your Mac, read only, after you say yes. It never sees a password and keeps no token of its own.

No account, no tracking

Annular stores no token. Usage history is a local file you can switch off and purge. There is no account, no tracking, and no crash reporting. Anonymous stats are off unless you switch them on.

Two hosts, that is all

Annular itself talks to Anthropic to read your Claude usage, and to annular.app once a day to look for an update. With Codex on, Codex talks to OpenAI, and Annular does not. Updates are notarized by Apple and verified against Annular's signing key before they install.
